Designer – Lindsay Parker

We at Point Blank Photography are excited to work in collaboration with young and innovative designer Lindsay Parker.

Her fashion portfolio promises to be a huge success on the catwalk after beating 10,000 applicants to receive a grant from UK based cell phone provider Vodafone to fund a charity fashion show which will take place this June. Lindsay is a successful graduate of Northampton University’s Fashion Design Program, her final project entitled ‘cruel’ predominantly used alternative materials to animal bi-products and encapsulated her passion for using recycled materials. Key examples included using seat belts for handbag handles and conveyor belts for soles on boots subsequently inspiring a truly unique collection!

Lindsay’s show promises to add to her resounding success with a themed catalogue including but not limited to the Olympics and Mid-century Americana style fashion whilst maintaining the recycling element by customising and altering charity shop donations. Look out for our preliminary creative shoot and with bated breath the exciting final images from Lindsay’s fashion show!

All proceeds from Lindsay’s fashion show will be going to St Giles Hospice.
Be sure to check out Vintage Remade on Facebook and we will have more blog posts with more photos documenting her ongoing work!
